Legislation and Regulations

In order to maintain a job in the creative media industries, you will need to be aware of and work within the law at all times. Health and Safety is just one aspect of the many laws and regulations that help us stay safe and ensure that we are following the law when at work or completing tasks for work.

You are not expected to learn the following laws (legislation) but you do need to know where to look and find information should you ever need it. For this task you need to look at the following legislation and summarise it's purpose and how it will / could impact you when creating your product for assignment 3.


For each of the above you will need to look at the relevant government pages and relevant websites (not just Wikipedia), add the link to a PPt., or Word document, and look at why the legislation exists (what is its purpose / function?) and then think about how it will impact you when you are creating your website and video.
